I do not know if I should write a formal or informal complaint or a formal or informal apology to the kitchen staff for the fact that there were currant scones instead of cranberry scones like I asked for. Perhaps my request was too vague? Or was I not strict enough?

Also Mother says that certain batches of pumpkin are causing skin lesions which sounds like nonsense but would she lie? so I must be careful. Such a pity given the month too.
